PHOENIX -- A Phoenix businessman accused of plotting to kill his wife over a contentious divorce now is facing additional charges.

Phoenix police say 75-year-old Fred B. Knadler allegedly offered an undercover detective $10,000 to have a 66-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man killed.

KTVK-TV says Knadler allegedly was trying to kill witnesses in the conspiracy case.

Police say Knadler has been indicted on two additional counts of conspiracy to commit murder.

He remains in custody on a cash bond.

Knadler was arrested in January 2012 after he allegedly conspired with and paid one of his employees to kill his wife and bury her body in the desert.

Knadler is owner of Arizona Shower Door Inc. and allegedly wanted to avoid losing millions of dollars in a divorce. ___ Information from: KTVK-TV, http://www.azfamily.com/
