PHOENIX -- Democrat Felecia Rotellini is running again for Arizona Attorney General.

The former prosecutor and bank regulator was defeated by Republican Tom Horne for the state's top prosecutor jobs in the 2010 election. The race was close, with Horne winning by approximately 63,000 votes out of a total of 1.6 million ballots cast.

She filed documents with the Arizona Secretary of State's Office Monday creating a campaign committee and she later released a statement announcing her candidacy.

The chairman of her campaign is listed as Richard Carmona, the former U.S. Surgeon General and 2012 U.S. Senate candidate.

Horne has said he might run for governor in 2014 but he is embroiled in a campaign finance case stemming from his race against Rotellini and has said he'll instead seek re-election.
