Accident creates 21-mile backup on eastbound I-10

An accident that left nails on eastbound Interstate 10 at 40th Street created a 21-mile backup Monday, making for a long commute to start the week for many.
The traffic jam reached Bell Road off Interstate 17 and lasted almost two hours. The Arizona Department of Transportation tweeted that two pickup trucks were blocking the HOV lane.
