FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Authorities have arrested eight men in northern Arizona who allegedly are non-compliant sex offenders.
A multi-agency task force comprised of law enforcement officers from the U.S. Marshals Service, Coconino County Sheriff's Office and the Flagstaff police took the men into custody early Friday in rural Flagstaff-area neighborhoods.
Authorities say the eight were convicted sex offenders who failed to confirm their online identifiers on an annual basis as required by law.
Arrest warrants were issued by a county grand jury. The eight men each are being held on $5,000 cash or secured bond.
The men ranged in age from 35 to 70.
