Two arrested for smuggling meth in chicken buckets

TUCSON, Ariz. — Two women were arrested Thursday after Nogales Border Patrol officials found six bags of methamphetamine hidden in two chicken buckets.
According to a release, the suspects possessed just under six pounds of narcotics aboard a commercial shuttle van. The seized drugs valued at $58,700 were transferred to the Drug Enforcement Agency.
Citizens are advised to contact Border Patrol agents at 877-872-7435 to report any suspicious activity.
