Phoenix Fire airlifts woman off Piestewa Peak

PHOENIX -- Phoenix Fire airlifted a woman from Piestewa Peak Friday morning.
Fire Capt. Jonathan Jacobs said the woman, who was hiking, was lifted off the mountain by the department's helicopter hoist because of the steep and rugged terrain.
Jacobs said the woman is being treated and is in stable condition.
