CHANDLER, Ariz. -- A small plane registered to a flight-training school was forced to make an emergency landing in a Chandler field because of a mechanic problem.

Chandler Fire Department officials said the Piper PA-18-150 Super Cub landed in an oat field Thursday morning near Cooper and Riggs roads.

The pilot and student on board weren't injured and the plane had little damage.
