PHOENIX -- Authorities say a Chandler man is accused of assault for spraying two people in the face with a homemade liquid he called "holy water."

Chandler police say 36-year-old Francisco Javier Villa allegedly sprayed two men with a thick, dark-yellow liquid in an apartment-complex parking lot last Thursday.

According to a court document, Villa told police the liquid was "holy water" and that it contained vegetable oil, bleach and hot sauce. CBS 5 News in Phoenix reports Villa claimed he got the liquid from the Mormon Temple in Mesa.

No serious injuries were reported.

However, both men say they want Villa to be prosecuted.

    Oh please yrreta
for all you know the vegetable oil wasn't even used but left in the locked trunk during these assaults. The media is just blaming vegetable oil since it isn't as healthy as extra virgin olive oil.

    Mormon Temple?
Well.. as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.. "Mormon"... I can tell you that this "liquid" would NOT be available from any Temple. Simply.. we don't have any sort of "holy water" anywhere. Not in our meeting houses or in our Temples. And certainly nothing that is concocted with vegetable oil, bleach and hot sauce. This is just a weak attempt to put the blame on Mormons.
