CHANDLER, Ariz. — Police say an assistant manager of a Chandler storage facility and her son have been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries of several units at the facility.

KPHO-TV reports that 54-year-old Julie Wood and 25-year-old Jacob Arledge were arrested this week following a tip from an ex-boyfriend of Woods. Court documents say that Woods told the ex-boyfriend that she was responsible for the burglaries.

Police say the mother-son team is suspected in five cases of burglary at a U-Haul building involving about $62,500 in merchandise.

Wood and Arledge were each booked on six counts of third-degree felony burglary and six counts of second-degree theft and control of stolen property.

It was unclear if either had attorneys.

    Where is Their Amnesty?
Since people ("illegal immigrants" to the less sensitive of us) who break into the country now get an effective amnesty (soon to be a formal amnesty it seems) - shouldn't burglary suspects all get an amnesty as they were also only trying to "get a better life" after all is said and done?
