Arizona Democrats feel as though Mark Kelly, husband to Gabrielle Giffords, would be the best candidate to replace Sen. John McCain in 2016.

Though he is such an ideal candidate among Arizona Democrats, according to ABC News, Kelly does not wish to pursue a political career. His top priorities are his wife's recovery and running a super PAC that will push for stricter gun control policies.

"She's the politician in the family, I'm the space guy," he said.

After his wife's attack and the recent Connecticut massacre, Kelly has worked diligently in the name of reducing gun violence.

    Kelly is a real American hero,McCain's career has become controversial by conflicting eyewitness reports. John McCain has been a racist for years, dating back to 1988, McCain was one of a very few senators that voted against the MLK Holiday. McCain has been a supporter of AZ's racist immigration bill.McCain stated,"well then build the DANG fence".John McCain is ANTI Latino, Afro American, Native American, all people of color, gays, women, he's even anti veterans (check his anti veteran voting record). All McCain is for, are his wars of course and super wealthy white men.

    We don't need another bleeding heart democrat and just for all of you do-uche-bags that even think it is possible just talk to Sheriff Joe and see how many Republicans come out to vote for someone who has a set of nuts and are not willing to give the state away to all the "burdens of society" !!

    Why? What are his qualifications? Pity vote? Vote for him because he has a wife that got shot? I feel for him but not enough to vote for him. Saddened by Gabriel getting shot but sickened by her anti-firearm mantra.

    Kelly might run? Calling Kelly a "hero" makes that term virtually meaningless (just like nearly all present Federal government policies). Yawn.

    If McCain's a racist so is Kelly. I believe Kelly refuses to back or endorse Pastafarians Freedom Day as a paid Federal holiday.
