A 21-year-old student killed herself by jumping off a building at Arizona State University's Tempe campus on Tuesday, the ASU Police Department said.

The student left a note, said Sharon Keeler with ASU police.

ASU's student paper, the State Press, tweeted an image of a marked car parked in front of the Goldwater Building. The building was surrounded by police tape.

Google Maps showed the building being located near the intersection of McAllister Ave. and University on the northeast corner of the campus

The Tempe Police Department declined to comment.
