Go Daddy purchases mobile company to help businesses

Domain name provider and web-hosting company Go Daddy has bought an app to boost small businesses.
According to Phoenix Business Journal Go Daddy announced the purchase of M.dot Inc. right after the ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating its new Sunnyvale, California office.
Through the M.dot app, users can create mobile websites from pre-loaded templates designed for mobile device screens. The custom features include store location, driving directions and price lists, includes a blog feature and integrates with Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube and Dropbox.
M.dot will operate out of Go Daddy’s new office in Sunnyvale.
