Hoop Dance competition being held this weekend

Need weekend plans? Go to the Hoop Dance competition hosted by the Heard Museum.
The Heard Museum will be presenting the first-ever Hoop Dance Legacy award performer Jones Benally (Diné).
Benally is a traveling Hoop Dancer that has been seen on the Oprah Winfrey Show and in the Arizona Highways magazine.
Along with the award presentation there will be a competition in which dancers will be judged on precision, timing/rhythm, showmanship, creativeness and speed.
The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday Feb. 9 and 10 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Children under four will be free, with varying prices for different age ranges.
