PHOENIX — Christopher Dorner has a vendetta against the police and he’s vanished, inciting a massive manhunt in several states, including Arizona, and Mexico.
While the frantic search Dorner continues in California, Phoenix police officers are on alert.
“It wouldn’t be unusual for him to show up in any city in the United States,” said Phoenix Police Chief Daniel Garcia.
Garcia said as soon as his department started to receive intelligence from Los Angeles, they started to pass the information along to patrol officers.
“It’s scary for police officers, for our citizens. It’s alarming. When you have someone who’s attacking police and their families it is disturbing.”
Garcia said he’s ordered officers to keep a closer watch on the interstates, bus stations and airports.
