Pool builder read signs, jumps into improving market

It appears homeowners are able to spend a little more of their hard-earned cash on luxury items. A Valley business owner is banking on the trend to continue.
"Over the past few years there's been up to a 13 to 15 percent increase in pool permits, consistently," said Craig Maggi.
Maggi is the new owner of Paddock Pools, an iconic pool brand in the Valley.
"I've been in the industry a very long time and it has taken its lumps, as every business has," he said. "But I believe the economy in Arizona is on the uptick."
