Screaming spoiled brat? Then no discount for you.

A customer received a $4.00 discount at a restaurant for the disciplined behavior of their child.

A picture of the receipt was posted on Reddit.

While some posters on Reddit responded positively to the event, others responded harshly, making such claims as "you don't deserve a reward for taking care of your kids," and "They should get a discount for behaving the way they are supposed to behave? I'm sorry but that is just silly."

    Clueless
Mac & Gaydos are two of the most clueless, judgemental and arrogant humans ever. The only smart thing I have ever heard from either of them is when Gaydos called Arpaio an idiot (regarding Arpaio's lame school shooting demo this coming saturday) Other than that, these guys are pathetic.

3 hours to listen to two dudes who have no idea about being married or being parents but yet they sure rock off opinions as if they are experts about the subject. Mac - piece of advice, whoever told you that you are superior to other humans was lying. KTAR ought to get rid of these two losers and let the chic be the host of her own show

If a business wants to give a discount
to people for having well behaved kids, that's fine. What's strange is that parents have to receive an incentive to encourage their children to behave. A good parent does not tolerate unruly children and would nip it in the bud before they caused a distration to others. We wouldn't have these incentives if parents would actually parent their children instead of babying, bribing, or ignoring them. I'm a leader of a kids group, see it all of the time, more and more these days.

    Well said, gmm
And at least a discount offers a clue to oblivious parents.

The opposite is not an option....
People would be screaming if the restaurant charged a surcharge to lazy parents with bad children. So their best option to take a stand against bad parenting is to reward good parenting. I think it is a fantastic idea. I am sick of people who think they have a "right" to eat out notwithstanding the behavior of their children. When I was a kid, my parents would have sooner died than allow their children to be rude or disruptive in public.

    BRAVO!!!!
I applaud the cleaverness of coming up with this concept. Parent's who let their kids run around the restaurant, look over the booths, kick the chairs, kick the divider walls need to be smacked themselves. Just because you have learned to ignore them doesn't mean they are no longer there. I told the parent's with obnoxious kids that they had a choice, to get their kids to stop the behaviour, or they were buying our meal. Why can't we go back to family sections and adult sections in restaurants? AirAsia just launch "Kid Free" zones on flights, I cannot wait for that concept to hit the US!
