Pedestrian hit by car expected to survive

PHOENIX — A man who was hit by a car Wednesday morning is expected to survive.
The man is in a local hospital in critical condition after being hit by the car in downtown Phoenix.
Phoenix police said another driver found the man in the road at Seventh Avenue and Roosevelt Street but there were no witnesses to the accident.
“The vehicle will probably have some pretty serious front-end damage,” said police spokesman James Holmes.
Police believe the vehicle may be a 2007 to 2013 Chevy Tahoe.
