Members of Sheriff Joe's volunteer posse will be trained this weekend to handle active shooters in schools.

According to a release, Sheriff Joe Arpaio's training program will include six instructors and 40 armed volunteers. These exercises start at 2 p.m. on Saturday and will feature four divergent school shooting scenarios.

SWAT team members will simulate the shooters and young people from ages 14 to 18 will play the role of the students. Participants will be using semi-automatic rifles and handguns that fire marking rounds.

Former actor Steven Seagal will lead the training.

Training will occur on a Fountain Hills school campus at 17300 E. Calaveras.

    He asks a very valid question? What qualifies Steven Seagal to teach this training? What skills does Seagal have other than bad acting and crummy european films? Not much... How much does he stand to made on film rights?
