SAN LUIS, Ariz. -- A man is in custody accused of trying to smuggle nearly 38 pounds of methamphetamine into southern Arizona.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials said Guillermo Eleazar Lopez-Rodriguez, 50, of Mexico, has been turned over to federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.
