While the Valley saw record rain over the weekend, Arizona Snowbowl near Flagstaff picked up more than 11 inches of snow.
Over the past week, the resort has welcomed 33 inches of the white stuff, making for nearly 120 inches for the season. The settled base is 54 inches.
“We did have a good turnout this weekend,” said Dave Smith, director of sales and marketing. “A lot of happy faces coming off the mountain.”
Smith said a chance of more snow continues through Monday night and then sunny skies and seasonal temperatures will return.
“All the snow we’ve got is going to hold us up great through the month of February,” he said.
