PHOENIX -- He's been one of the state's most outspoken critics of President Obama on illegal immigration and the botched gunwalking operation known as 'Fast and Furious.' Now Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said he will not enforce any gun laws the president creates by executive order.

Babeu shipped off a strongly worded letter to President Obama that accuses him of using tragedies such as the Connecticut school shootings as a way to push a gun control agenda.

"Why isn't the focus on the mentally ill? Providing more resources to identify who these people are to get them help but to restrict them from owning or possessing firearms."

Babeu told KTAR he finds it ironic that an administration that put 2,000 weapons into the hands of Mexican drug cartels with the Fast and Furious would try to take away Second Amendment rights.

"I am very alarmed, as all Americans and patriots should be at the growing power and strength of the federal government and very concerned that the president, who is a constitutional lawyer, believes that he can even do this," he said.

it is good to see them taking a stand. Unfortunately Obama has forseen and planned for that. He has been growing his own homeland militia called FEMA, and is ready to respond.

Communist Party USA supports Obama's gun grab
It should come as no surprise that the Communist Party USA is on board with President Obama's plan to attack Americans' right to keep and bear arms.

    Impeachment Obama & Biden
They are not there to change the laws of this land. They are there to do the peoples will. Not jump at every headline that comes along for their own agenda. They attempt to seize the moment to make sweeping changes and I think we have all had enough of this sort of politics. By the time they are done in office you won't recognize America any longer.

Can you provide any substantial proof of this phantom FEMA militia you that some of you seem to fear so much? Where are they training? Where are they getting the huge numbers of people that would be required to make up such a force?

Would show up 3 weeks late and everyone would be sitting around or touring the city, waiting for someone to tell them what to do . Besides, FEMA couldn't fight it's way out of a wet paper bag...

Yrretta, Ronald Reagan had this to say:
May 1994. "To Members of the U.S. House of Representatives: We are writing to urge your support for a ban on the domestic manufacture of military-style assault weapons. This is a matter of vital importance to the public safety...While we recognize that assault weapon legislation will not stop all assault weapon crime, statistics prove that we can dry up the supply of these guns, making them less accessible to criminals. We urge you to listen to the American public and to the law enforcement community and support a ban on the further manufacture of these weapons."

I thought I read something back in the fall about FEMA or DHS graduating their first class of troops to be used on citizens. I never really look too hard into it about the validity though so take this with a grain of salt.
