PHOENIX -- An immigration activist who's one of the leaders of the Dream Act movement is joining the staff of Arizona Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema as a district outreach director.

Erika Andiola is a founder of the Arizona Dream Act Coalition- a group of immigrant youths that advocate for the legalization of immigrants brought to the U.S. as children. She's an illegal immigrant from Mexico.

Andiola was in the news last week when her mother and brother were arrested by federal immigration officers at the family's home in Mesa. They were later released.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials insist the two weren't targeted because of Andiola's activism.

Andiola say ICE agents told her there was a long-pending deportation order for her mother. Her brother was detained for refusing to answer agents' questions.

    Anybody see a Correlation?
Could it be that the two illegal immigrants were released because of the political agenda of a congresswoman? This is truly a "W-T-F?" moment for America. What's next, allowing non English speaking illegal immigrants to run for US President?

One sure way to solve this
is for someone to tell Sheriff Joe. This lady is losing her freaking mind if she thinks she can employ this illegal immigrant. Oh, that's ok because when we throw her out of office in 2 years, the illegal's "temporary" visa will have expired and she will have to go back to the shadows where she came out of.

So only "common folks" have to play by the rules?
Isn't it illegal to hire an Illegal? Why isn't this being corrected? I guess Washington doesn't have to follow the rules the rest of us do? When is the revolution coming? We have a President who makes his own rules, Politicians who make their own rules and common folks who have to follow a different standard! This Country is falling apart!

    Andiola's two year work authorization
allows her to be employed legally by Sinema. Not that it really matters in Maricopa County even if Sinema was an employer of illegal immigrants. Why, you ask? Arpaio's much vaunted employer sanctions sweeps really have not a thing to do with employer sanctions. If you employ illegal immigrants in Arizona, you are pretty much home free under our State's namby pamby employer sanctions law. It's the Feds' employer enforcement that has actual teeth. Joe is just a joke.

    bad choice
Dream Act is an insult to legal immigrants. Better would be to help immigrants to cross the borders the right way by becoming legal immigrant. Instead the Dream Act encourages illegal immigrants to face death as the cross the border the wrong way, killing thousands of good people. But Erika cares about herself the immigrant
