Construction changing some Phoenix bus routes

Beginning Jan. 28, some Phoenix bus routes are subject to slight changes.

According to the City of Phoenix the changes are due to the due to the construction of the METRO Light Rail Northwest extension that will be between Bethany Home and Dunlap Ave, as well as to increase bus frequencies to every 35 minutes.

The affected routes will be:

• Route 1, which will be modified to connect with the SKY Train transit center
• Route 13 which will be modified to end at Sky Harbor Airport Terminal 4
• Route 19 which will detour off 19th Ave to 7th Ave between Bethany Home Rd. and Dunlap Ave during light rail construction.
