Mesa Fire to offer free flu shots

PHOENIX — The Mesa Fire Department is holding a flu-shot clinic for children and adults on Monday.

Anyone over the age of 6 months can get a free flu vaccination. The shots will be given at Mesa High School, in Pod 201 which is near the auditorium. The school is located on 1630 E. Southern Avenue

The clinic will be open from 5-7 p.m.

In a written statement, Safeway stores in the Valley said they have also secured a large quantity of flu vaccine. Shots will be administered by store pharmacists during regular business hours.

To find a location where the shots are available, go to cwww.flu.gov and enter a ZIP code.
