PHOENIX -- A woman using a walker was killed Friday morning after being hit by a car at 43rd Avenue and Cactus Road.

Police are questioning at least one person at the scene.

The woman was crossing the street with her husband. He was not injured.

No other details were immediately available.

    sad. The hit and run criminal drivers normally run south through the desert if the crash makes the car inoperable. I guess when you hit and kill a person they just keep driving as if no big deal.
