TUCSON, Ariz. — Federal authorities say a Tucson man has been arrested in connection with a child pornography case.

They say 43-year-old Lance Robert Fries was taken into custody at his attorney's office without incident Friday afternoon by special agents with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.

Authorities say Fries is facing potential federal charges of production of child pornography. He's expected to make his initial appearance in federal court in Tucson on Monday.

They say Fries' arrest came after HSI released photographs Thursday of an unidentified man sought in connection with a child pornography case that involved the sexual exploitation of a young boy.

Authorities say the child porn images in the case were first discovered by HIS special agents in Oregon in 2006.
