FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Flagstaff will use $252,000 of state grant funding to continue its cleanup of recently acquired Picture Canyon.

The Arizona Daily Sun reported that the money from the state Arizona Water Protection Fund will be used to pay for work that includes removing debris and restoring slopes and vegetation.

A previous grant helped to restore the stream habitat inside the canyon.
