PHOENIX -- Federal authorities say three people in Arizona were among 245 arrested worldwide during a month-long international child-porn investigation.

They say ``Operation Sunflower'' was launched in November and 123 victims were identified by federal officials as being sexually exploited.

Authorities say 44 children were rescued from their abusers and 79 were identified as either being exploited by others outside their home or are now adults who were victimized as children. Five were under the age of 3.

Homeland Security Investigations special agents launched the international operation aimed at rescuing victims and targeting people who own, trade and produce images of child pornography.

Authorities say two people were arrested in Phoenix and one in Tucson in the operation. The names and ages of the three in Arizona weren't immediately released Thursday.
