PHOENIX — At 11:00 p.m. Saturday night, officials from the Phoenix Fire Department responded to a call about heavy fire involvement at a residence in Laveen.
Upon arrival, officials were able to report that all three residents present at the time of the fire (a teen and two children), made it out safely.
An investigator at the scene reported that a Christmas tree may have possibly caused the fire. While there were no injuries, the house did have extensive damage.
According to a spokesman, the PFD’s Crisis Team also assisted the family upon arrival at the scene.
