If the kids are out of school or you have family in town, there are some "cool" happenings this week at the Arizona Science Center in downtown Phoenix.

It's Snow Week, where the center will blanket the grassy area in front of the facility with a thick layer of freshly made snow.

"It's so great," said 5-year-old Zoey Gunten. "It's like you can build a snowman and Jack Frost is amazing."

While she was busy building, 9-year-old Zack Jones was taking in the sights.

"It's beautiful," he said.

Along with the 30 tons of snow that will be brought in, there will be winter-themed events for the entire family.
