TUCSON, Ariz. -- Tucson police have arrested four women they say were part of an organized gang that shoplifted tens of thousands of dollars' worth of cosmetics, jewelry and other merchandise from area retailers.

Police spokeswoman Sgt. Maria Hawke said in a statement that police have a warrant for a fifth woman they suspect was involved in the ring.

Hawke said a retailers' organization told police earlier this year that a group of women shoplifters appeared to be targeting CVS stores. After police launched an investigation in August they learned the women were targeting several other retailers as well.

Hawke said Tuesday that detectives learned the women were transferring the stolen merchandise to others, who then sold it at a local swap meet. Police say they recovered more than $100,000 in merchandise.

So it just dawned on me
it's not just the rich CEO's we have to worry about when it comes to greed and price of goods, it's selfish people like this that cause prices to go up and I have to pay more out of pocket. Thanks!
