Surprise police searching for alleged bank robber

Police are searching for a male suspect who allegedly robbed a Surprise bank on Dec. 3.
According to police, the suspect entered the Chase Bank inside the Basha’s grocery store at 15367 W. Waddell Rd. about 4 p.m. He then approached a teller and demanded money before fleeing the bank.
The suspect is described as being a white male in his 20s, standing about 5-foot-9 and weighing 140 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a multicolored baseball cap.
