If you're getting a new neighbor, there's a good chance that person is moving from the Golden State.

According to NBC Los Angeles, Arizona is the second-most popular location for people moving out of California.

The Census Bureau calculates that the most popular destination is Texas (58,992), a state that is luring California companies. That's followed by Arizona (49,635), Nevada (40,114), Washington (38,421) and Oregon (34,214).

The report said that many people move out of California because the cost of living is very high, but the numbers could drop when the economy turns around.

    Not just cost of living...
... believe me I'm a California native, and made the move to AZ in '98. 1. taxes 2. illegal immigration 3. quality of life 4. crowded / busy freeways and roads 5. crumbling infrastructure 6. cost of living 7. liberal California politicians and constituencies 8. bad public schools in many areas

As far as I am concerned
They can all go right back. Take your California attitude, rudeness, and undesirable attributes with you. We don't want Arizona to have your inlfuence, which is mostly negative. Don't californicate AZ.
