Man arrested in Glendale with weapons and ammo
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Authorities say a convicted felon has been arrested in Glendale after 12 firearms and about 10,000 rounds of ammunition were found in his Glendale home.
Glendale police say 38-year-old Eric Davis is being held on suspicion of multiple felonies including misconduct involving weapons.
Police say they followed up on a tip about Davis allegedly boasting about being ``gun-wielding felon.''
They say Davis has been convicted of multiple prior felonies including possession of dangerous drugs for sale and misconduct involving weapons.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for Davis' residence Thursday and say they found assault rifles and semi-automatic handguns plus the ammo.
Police say Davis was arrested without incident and booked into the downtown Phoenix jail. They didn't immediately know Friday whether Davis has an attorney.
