PHOENIX -- A Phoenix man is being held on a $1 million cash bond in connection with the shooting death of his former girlfriend in Avondale.

Maricopa County prosecutors said Thursday that Michael Wayne Hall, 41, was arraigned on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated assault, endangerment and unlawful means of transportation.

Hall was arrested Nov. 20 in Las Vegas and evidence reportedly was found in his car and hotel room. He was extradited Wednesday night to Arizona and doesn't have a lawyer yet.

Court documents show Donella Clauschee, 28, was found dead in her garage Nov. 19 after being shot five times including once in the head.

Prosecutors said Clauschee was shot in front of the couple's 4-year-old daughter, who was found unharmed and still in her car seat when police arrived.
