PHOENIX -- Authorities believe that two men who robbed a Chandler check-cashing business may have also committed a similar heist in Phoenix.

A silent alarm alerted Chandler police to a robbery at Ace Check Cashing about 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said two men dressed in black got into the building through the roof.

When employees entered the building, the men dropped down from the ceiling. They assaulted and handcuffed the employees before taking the cash from the drawers and the safe.

After stealing the money, witnesses saw the men run out of the front of the building toward an alley behind the business.

Police said the same two men may have robbed a check-cashing business in Phoenix on Tuesday night.

Authorities said they don't have any suspects in the two cases yet.
