Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a Scottsdale bank on Thursday.

The suspect allegedly entered the Bank of America at 8075 N. Hayden around 10 a.m. and approached a teller. He then pulled out a handgun and fired into the ceiling and demanded cash.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the area in an unknown direction.

The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, light-colored ski mask and jeans at the time of the robbery.

No one was injured during the robbery.
