Hotel Palomar named one of America's hot hotels

The new Hotel Palomar at Cityscape in downtown Phoenix is hot, but it's not just because the city's been experiencing warmer than normal temperatures.
The Hotel Palomar has been named one of the hot new hotels in the world by TripAdvisor.com.
"We put together list of hotels that opened in 2012 and have gotten rave reviews from travelers on TripAdvisor.com," said Leslie Carlin, company spokeswoman. "They've been doing a great job since it opened," said Leslie Carlin, company spokeswoman.
A TripAdvisor traveler commented, "This property is exactly what I'd design if I were dreaming up the ideal hotel."
The average nightly rate is $157 and up.
