MARICOPA, Ariz. -- Authorities have identified an employee of a grain business in the Pinal County community of Maricopa who was found fatally shot.

Police say the shooting of 26-year-old Orlando Requena of Casa Grande was reported early Tuesday morning.

Officers initially responded to a call about shots fired. They arrived at Arizona Grain to find Requena suffering from gunshot wounds. He was found in the off-load area along with several shell casings.

Requena was pronounced dead at the scene. He had worked at the company for two years.

Police say Requena appears to have been targeted for unknown reasons.

The police department and the Pinal County Attorney's Office are asking the public to report any vehicles seen parked on Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway near Arizona Grain around the time of the shooting.
