For many Americans, their body image doesn't bother them, even if they are 14 pounds heavier than 20 years ago.

According to Daily Mail, Americans are happy being overweight.

A Gallup poll found that the heavier people get, the heavier their ideal body weight becomes.

Men weigh on average, 16 pounds more than they did 20 years ago. Their ideal body weight is 14 pounds heavier than when the study started in 1990.

Women's ideal weight was also up by 11 pounds, with their actual weight rising 14 pounds.

60 percent of people found their weight being "about right," which is the highest number of people Gallup has found. Gallup reported this as "weight denial."

The results found that most people know they should lose weight, but they generally think they are fine as they are.

According to Daily Mail, there is room for error with poll because subject's weights were self-reported and not verified.

    Just wait
wait until government assisted health care Obamacare will force sugar tax, fat tax, and other health related taxes. See if people are happy being fat and paying extra tax.
