Pedestrian killed on WB I-10 near downtown Phoenix

PHOENIX -- A pedestrian on westbound Interstate 10 was hit and killed just before 5 a.m. Thursday.
The unidentified woman was struck by a delivery truck near the Seventh Street exit. Authorities closed all but the HOV and fast lanes at the exit, backing up traffic for miles.
By around 7:30 a.m. all lanes had been re-opened.
