Guilty plea entered in Chandler woman's killing
CHANDLER, Ariz. -- A man accused of kidnapping and then killing a Chandler woman inside a vacant house has pleaded guilty to a first-degree murder charge.
Prosecutors alleged that Jaime Coronado, 34, kidnapped and then killed Michelle Melinda Morales, 41. Her body was found on the floor of a vacant house on March 1, 2010.
Coronado was arrested the next day by the U.S. Marshals service.
Coronado changed his plea Wednesday and is set to be sentenced on Nov. 28.
