Motorcycle rider killed in Chandler crash

A motorcyclist was killed in an crash on Tuesday, the Chandler Police Department said.
The crash occurred about 4:20 p.m. at the intersection of Dobson and Warner roads, causing a major traffic backup.
The driver of the other vehicle involved was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
There was no immediate word on what caused the accident.
