PHOENIX -- Arizona authorities say eight people have been arrested following a drug seizure and an attempt to ram a highway patrol officer's car.

An Arizona Department of Public Safety officer tried to stop a pickup truck for speeding Sunday morning when another vehicle came from behind and attempted to ram the patrol car.

The officer took evasive action and avoided the collision. Both vehicles were eventually stopped in a Phoenix freeway and DPS says 215 pounds of marijuana and almost 12 grams of methamphetamine were seized from the vehicles.

DPS says three suspects were booked into Maricopa County Jail on charges of participating in a criminal enterprise, transportation of marijuana for sale and possession of dangerous drugs.

Authorities say five suspects were turned over to the custody of the U.S. Border Patrol.

    And here's the rub....
If Obama and Nappy had their way, if these people were pulled over last week, it would be against the law to question their status. We would have to wait until this week when something like this happened. Our federal government is failing us all. Repulitards and Demcants aren't going to fix this problem. We have to fire them and start over.
