CASA GRANDE, Ariz. — Authorities in Pinal County say the driver of a car carrying about 240 pounds of marijuana led police on a chase before being arrested in a carport in Eloy.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office says the car's driver failed to stop when he failed to yield on Friday morning, began the chase and kept driving even after spikes were used to deflate the vehicle's tires.

Officials say the car later collided with another vehicle in Casa Grande and headed to Eloy.

The driver and a passenger fled on foot after the car came to a rest in Eloy.

The two men were arrested in a carport of house.

    Funny how....
more people's lives were put at risk due to the police chase than would ever be in danger from the marijuana...
