No trace of missing plane, pilot bound for Tucson

HALF MOON BAY, Calif. -- Searchers are looking for a single-engine plane reported missing on a flight from Northern California to Arizona.
The Aeropro two-seat aircraft lifted off from Half Moon Bay before dawn on Monday.
The pilot's wife reported him missing after the plane failed to arrive at Marana Regional Airport near Tucson.
FAA spokesman Ian Gregor told the San Jose Mercury News that searches in the Half Moon Bay and Tucson areas failed to find any trace of the plane.
The Virginia-based Air Force Rescue Coordination Center confirms that it is looking for the aircraft. There was no other information on Monday night.
The name of the pilot hasn't been released.
