Valley family seeking leads to father's killer

A Valley family is desperate to find leads that might lead to the arrest of their father's killer.
The body of 84-year-old Irving Shuman, a prominent Jewish activist, was discovered on Sept. 2, 2008 at his central Phoenix office. The medical examiner determined the man died of blunt force trauma and strangulation.
"It's been so hard," said Rick Shuman, the victim's son. "The utter shock and horror of what happened. I never got a chance to say goodbye."
Shortly after the homicide, California authorities reported they found Irving Shuman's stolen car, a gold Lexus, in San Bernardino. Since that discovery, it seems the case has gotten cold.
"We have no major lead or breakthrough, which is why we're hoping that in offering this reward for a short period of time, somebody will provide that lead and that information and help us solve this murder," said Shuman.
Until Monday, Oct. 22nd, the family is offering $30,000 for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for killing Irving Shuman.
