PHOENIX -- The Arizona Department of Public Safety is looking for the driver of a large truck that struck a freeway overpass on Thursday, knocking sizable chunks of concrete onto Interstate 17.

The semi-truck, carrying an oversize load, hit the overpass at I-17 southbound at Jefferson Street, scattering heavy debris and closing the exit.

According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, a crane on the truck hit the bridge.

There have been no reports of injuries.

The left lane of Jefferson Street will be closed for a month of repair work. All freeway lanes are open.
