listen Listen: ASU students weigh in on presidential debate
Two Arizona State University students weigh in on how the presidential debate affects their future and who they fell won.

While the world discussed the winners and losers of the first presidential debate, Arizona State University students wanted to weigh in.

"I'm looking for someone to represent who I am ... and right now, in D.C., we simply do not have that kind of representation," said Rachel, a freshman, adding that she feels that Washington is lacking in white women representing their nation.

Rachel said she felt the debate went pretty well and lots of topics were hit, but Evan, a sophomore, felt Wednesday night changed the face of the election.

"It was a game-changer for the presidential debate," he said, adding that Americans now know where each candidate stands.

Evan also felt that one man triumphed on Wednesday: Mitt Romney.

"I thought Romney showed how ready he is to be the next President of the United States," he said.

In a tough economy, students are concerned about the job market when they graduate. Evan said he's had to change his major just to give himself a shot at becoming successful.

should be voting for the person who is best for the country not yourself. that is selfish. If you vote for somone who is can empower you, provide greater opportunity for you to succeed than everyone wins. Obama wants to be the provider, take care of you instead of empowering you

    And no matter
how many different ways it's explained to him, Obama just will NEVER be able to comprehend why lower taxes and the resulting job growth will yield higher tax revenues because more people have jobs and pay taxes! He's so fixated on the class-warfare rhetoric he can't or won't see the forest of economic growth for the trees of raising taxes on those horrible rich people!
