Three illegal immigrants were arrested Sunday night after they mistook a broken down car with their pick up vehicle, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said in a release.

A couple driving near Gila Bend had a tire blow out, and they pulled over to repair it. As they were working to fix the tire, the three men entered the vehicle.

The woman began screaming at them and the men exited the vehicle and hurried back into the desert.

MCSO found the three men about 80 yards from the roadway. All claimed to be Mexican nationals who paid between $300 and $2,000 each to be smuggled into the United States.

The men were booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on smuggling charges.

Hard to blame these people anymore
when our president gives them so many incentives to come here illegally. Pay a violent cartel a few thousand dollars to be smuggled in, avoid detection for as long as possible and start a family if you can. Then if you get caught down the road, you won't meet ICE's "priority" for deportation and you'll get to stay! Who would pass up such a great deal...

    Sheriff get a clue
Sheriff Joe you are not allowed to arrest Illegal Immigrants any more. The President said so. In fact we have open borders now welcoming all Illegal Immigrants even if they are from the Middle East. Illegal Immigrants have more rights than US Citizens and Legal Immigrants
